The HEAD VISOR VMA V Acoustic Camera
The lightweight and modular new HEAD VISOR VMA V offers extremely high levels of convenience and quality results, as all relevant settings can be made on the device, which can still easily be held in the hands over a longer period without fatigue. Of course, it can also be used with a standard camera stand.
HEAD VISOR VMA V is intuitive and efficient to operate, featuring a 7” multi-touch display and four control buttons that enable instant and highly precise results. All relevant functionalities of the HEAD VISOR Software are available on the handheld unit in real-time. The 30-cm-body integrates a depth camera for distance measurement and 60 microphones for close-up applications, for example, in a car interior. It is easily extendable with ten spiral arms, adding another 60 microphones and creating an array with a diameter of 100 cm. With this array, HEAD VISOR VMA V achieves a higher resolution and makes sounds visible down to a frequency of typically 250 Hz. HEAD VISOR VMA V allows users to visualize sounds at a wide range of distances, starting from only 30 cm.
