BoldInspect combines CAD data with measurement data produced by devices ranging from high-precision laser scanners to digital callipers, providing users with a comprehensiveview of their manufacturing processes, easily viewable on the go via Apple iPad Pro.
BoldInspect is highly customizable, with custom integrations and features that can be tailored to specific manufacturing processes. This flexibility allows users to optimize their quality control efforts and improve efficiency throughout their operations in real time, reducing waste and increasing profitability.
Case study: Škoda Auto
ŠKODA AUTO uses the software under their “e-Protokol” brand to digitize pre-series manufacturing of their vehicles. They use high precision laser scanners to capture the exact shape of physical parts, while BoldInspect provides visualizations of any deviations from CAD models using easy-to-understand heatmaps viewable on an iPad Pro. Users can collaborate on the same data and use the Augmented Reality view when working with prototypes, for presentations tracking progress and decision making.
This implementation won the IT Project Of the Year 2021 award.
