Product novelty 22. March 2024
QS - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 CAQ presence at the control 2024
CAT GmbH - Stuttgart - is presenting the newest version of its CAQ system QS - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 at the Control 2024.
In addition to numerous functional enhancements, innovative new developments are now available. The following three examples show an excerpt of the new scope of functions.
FMEA and control plan for multi-stage production
This supports the production of end products that consist of multi-stage assemblies and subassemblies.
QS - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- now offers the complete FMEA and the complete Control plan for this type of production.
The complete structured bill of materials is exploded and the sub Control plans or sub FMEAs created for the assemblies are combined to form a complete FMEA and a complete Control plan (naturally also the complete flowchart).
QS - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 thus extends the normal linear control plan to a structured Control plan and the FMEA to a structured FMEA.
Integration of Measurement system analysis and the Inspection plan
QS - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 has been offering the referencing of Inspection plans, FMEAs and 8D reports for some time.
In the new version, the Inspection plan now also includes referencing to existing Measurement system analysis.
With a simple click of the mouse, the Measurement system analysis assigned to the test characteristics can now be viewed.
Control plan validation
IATF 16949 defines that the Control plans must be validated at defined intervals. The new version supports the monitoring of validation with deadline monitoring - also by e-mail - as well as multi-stage reminders for overdue validations.
CAT hereby shows that the application of modern CAQ systems has a huge optimisation potential not only for the Quality management but for the entire company.
