TASKS
· Developing software solutions for controlling our detectors
· Continuously optimizing both existing code and new developments, with an emphasis on clean code
· Developing methods to efficiently manage the large volumes of data produced by our detectors
· Writing detailed software documentation
· Testing the developed software with detectors in real laboratory settings
· Providing assistance with technical customer support

YOUR PROFILE
· Excellent practical programming skills with scientific Python and C++ and Linux expertise
· University level degree in physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics or similar
· Passion for high software quality with the ambition and pragmatism to implement it in dynamic work environments
· Previous experience with experimental controls a plus
· Fluent in English
· IT knowhow is a plus – GPU, big data, networking
