As of Immediately: QA Sector in Preparation for Control 2023
The industry will meet at the 35th Control international trade fair for quality assurance from the 9th through the 12th of May, 2023. Numerous innovations covering all aspects of in-line inspection processes are expected to be presented in Stuttgart.
Frickenhausen, 22 September 2022 – As a trade fair highlight for all stakeholders in the field of quality assurance (QA), the next Control will pick up where the last event left off with its great success in May 2022 – after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, over 600 exhibitors experienced top-level QA innovations live, up close and hands-on. Current, forward-looking developments include artificial intelligence (AI) technologies as well as inline production inspection processes. In particular, cutting-edge innovations in the fields of vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as measuring and test technology, will be showcased.
Leading Trade Fair with International Line-Up
Traditionally, Control is an indispensable leading trade fair with an international line-up and is one of the most interesting and important events of all for the QA sector. And thus it’s once again being eagerly awaited with great anticipation and excitement in May 2023. “Control will once again bring exhibitors and expert visitors together in person as the trade fair highlight of the QA industry in 2023,” says trade fair promoter Bettina Schall, managing director of P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “As a tradition, we place great emphasis on direct, practical relevance and concrete applicability with our trade fairs. This is why users and interested parties will also find everything they need at the 35th Control in order to position themselves at the cutting edge in terms of quality assurance, and to succeed in international competition with excellent QA in manufacturing.”
“In 2022 it became obvious that the need for information on new QA developments had greatly increased,” sums up Fabian Krüger, Control project manager. “Above all, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) met with great interest across the board,” explains Krüger. “And thus more than ever, it will be possible to experience just how intensively AI is already supporting industrial production and testing processes at the next Control. Small businesses can also easily get started with AI support.”
QS is a Growth Industry
The issues surrounding QS are forward-looking topics – and growth segments. This is because quality assurance measures are expanding in industrial as well as non-industrial sectors – driven by the demand for zero-defects production, more automation, autonomous systems and the need to conserve resources and improve production efficiency. Measuring, testing and inspection processes have long since been integrated into manufacturing sequences. Contactless processes, remote services, small lot sizes and increasing digitalisation with consistent data analysis are based on modern QA solutions. Companies are thus working intensively on further developments for measuring environments, measuring machines and test equipment.
Control is traditionally the ideal communication and business platform for all of these innovations. It’s the most interesting, and the largest trade fair for quality assurance anywhere in the world. Traditionally, Control is a firmly established marketplace for innovations with world-class events held alongside the trade fair by the renowned research facilities of the Fraunhofer Institute, the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation (IPA), as well as the special show for “Contactless Measuring Technology”. Save the dates for the next industry highlight: 9 to 12 May 2023 in Stuttgart.
