From the revolutionary AGGRA gauge to the company’s 75th anniversary at Control 2022
The history of industrial quality assurance is full of revolutionary technical inventions that enabled innovative new inspection methods, resulting in simpler, more efficient and more flexible production with significantly less waste and maximum precision.
A prime example of these revolutionary innovations in their day was the AGGRA gauge(external thread limit roller rake gauge) from the Kordt company. It replaced the thread ring gauge in the area of quality-related inspection equipment, thus enabling fast and low-wear inspection of external threads without having to unclamp the workpiece from the machine. This meant significant time and cost savings for manufacturing companies, as well as higher quality production, thanks to limit and tolerance control.
At Control 2022, Kordt is now celebrating its 75th anniversary and, with “Precision for Performance” as its guiding principle, is presenting an extensive, internationally established range of gauges, measuring instruments and semi- or fully-automatic testing equipment. The anticipation for the trade show is great and Thomas Jantzen, the CEO of the company, is even celebrating a very special trade show anniversary with his participation at the 34th Control: “For me personally, it is already the thirtieth Control participation. As the leading trade fair for metrology, Control, International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance, has offered an ideal forum for personal contact for decades. In individual discussions at Control 2022, we would like to find out how we can support our customers’ performance even better with our precision equipment.”
Industrial quality assurance is a permanent optimization process and Control is the only all-rounder worldwide for these complex requirements. That is why world premieres are presented exclusively at this important international trade show and new products are developed especially for the trade show date. The preparations for the presence fair are already in full swing, because the 34th Control will take place from 03. to 06 May 2022 will be held at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Center, in the middle of one of Europe’s leading technology regions.
